Read: Download links: Hamachi 1.0.1.5 : filehippo.com Freeproxy : www.handcraftedsoftware.org OS Requirements: Hamachi: Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (Linux version also availiable) Freeproxy: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP/Vista/7 (Wine for linux not tested) This tutorial is for those who want one simple thing. A proxy on a host computer from home, and a way to access the web, as if at home, while at a network that is restrictive on many websites. This tutorial also opens a gateway to many other things you can do with the freeproxy program as well as hamachi. I recommend testing out each program if you follow this tutorial! Process: 1. Install hamachi (download link above). Follow the instructions on the installation. In the version I provided, it complains about the trial being up. This is normal, even if you chose to install the basic version. 2. Run hamachi, and proceed through the tutorial if you wish. The power button will ask for you for a name. Hamachi will give you an IP. 3. Set up a master password (the tutorial didn’t mention this, but if you don’t want hamachi bugging you, then you might want to do this). 4. Click the triangle icon, and create a network. On other clients, install hamachi and join the network. 5. Install Freeproxy Internet Suite. 6. Click the proxies button in the program interface. How to setup internet and MMS picture messaging using your AT&T iPhone on the H2OWireless or Red Pocket prepaid service provider. (general settings for 3G, 3GS, 4G included) NOTE: I Have NOT tried this on the 4GS, but have heard it works. Please post a comment regarding any issues with iOS5. The cool thing about H2O is it uses the AT&T network towers and offers you the same reception with much better rates including for Unlimited talk and text or per month for Unlimited talk and text plus 250MB internet, or for more data. (All plans offer limited free international calling as well). After putting the H2OWireless sim card in your phone, which is available at any Best Buy or online, even if your phone is AT&T carrier locked you’ll notice the reception bars come up and you can begin calling and texting right away and 3G/4G is available. The only problems you’ll find is that setting up internet and MMS is not immediate, if your phone is locked, as AT&T takes away the APN editing option from the Network preferences of your device. Also the information H2O sends out for setting up this process is incorrect, so I decided to make tutorial on how to do this in a few easy steps.
